The Yellow Maeng Da is known as the “gold” kratom. This strain owes its name to the gold powder. The leaves of this tree are only picked by hand by the farmers at a very late age. The high alkaloid content comes from the unique drying process. The Yellow Maeng Da consists of 80% of the white variety and 20% of the red kratom variety.
